Computational Facility

At ThSim MRC, we have the best computational facilities maintained by our team, designed to sustain our forays into computational material research.  

Satya HPC

Master CPU node is built using Intel Xeon Cascade Lake 6248 2.5 GHz processors in a 2-socket configuration with 40 cores, 384 GB RAM (9.6 GB per core), and 2TB SSD local storage per node. There is also 84 TB additional storage.

CPU nodes are built using Intel Xeon Cascade Lake 6248 2.5 GHz processors in a 2-socket configuration with 40 cores, 1.5 TB RAM (38.4 GB per core), and 480 GB SSD local storage per node. There are a total of four such nodes on this system yielding a maximum of 160 cores.

Dirac HPC

Kalam GPU

The CPU of each node consists of Intel Xeon G-6248 2.5 GHz processor in a 2-thred 2-socket configuration with 20 cores each, 384 GB RAM and 2TB SSD local storage. The GPU node is made up of four Nvidia V100 Tesla 32GB (HBM2 device memory) GPU cards.
